Q: Why can't I see the "Get Add-in" or "Get more Apps" in my Outlook
You might be using a non-Microsoft email hosting with Outlook (using IMAP/POP/ActiveSync), in such case you will not be able to install any Add-ins. Segmail requires a Microsoft account as it sends out the Campaign emails by calling Microsoft APIs.
Q: What sort of Microsoft account must I have to use this add-in?
You will need a Microsoft 365 family/personal/business account.
Q: What are the permissions I need to grant from my MS account for the Add-in to work?
- View your basic profile - name, profile picture, username.
- Read your profile.
- Send email as you.
- Read, update, create and delete email in your mailbox.
- Read your contacts.
- Access all of the above data even when you are not using the app.
Q: How many emails can I send?
Non-campaigns with tracking - unlimited.
Campaigns with/without tracking - we follow Outlook's limits:
- Max # of recipients per email/campaign: 500
- Max # emails per day: 1000
- Emails are throttled at 3-5 minutes per email
